Can I get an IVA?
To be eligible for an IVA you need to meet the following IVA criteria:
1) You must be resident in England, Wales or Northern Ireland
2) You must have debts over £10,000 in the UK
3) You must have a regular income, be able to pay back at least £170 per month and still be able to afford living expenses
4) You must be having difficulties repaying your debts and/or your debts.
As well as the above you must have a positive attitude towards the repayment. Your Insolvency Practitioner will have a greater chance getting your IVA application approved if you are honest about your situation during the free IVA Assessment..
